UW Students Need All of Us
Students are the heart and soul of universities — and they’re going through some tough times right now. That’s why this week, the Big Ten Conference is coming together to raise funds for the things students need to thrive. Together, we have the power to positively impact more than 600,000 students nationwide.
Will you give an extra $21 in 2021? Make a gift today to help UW students in one of these four ways:
Keep a student in school with tuition assistance.
Scholarships are about more than making ends meet. They’re a vote of confidence that tell students, “We believe in you.”
Provide a nutritious meal to food insecure students.
Students struggling with food insecurity may suffer declining performance due to chronic stress and poor nourishment. Your gift of $21 can feed three students a nutritious meal in any campus dining hall.
Enhance critical mental health services and suicide prevention care.
The accessibility of mental health care has never been more crucial. You can help provide 24/7 crisis intervention services and specialized treatment for students who need it most.
Expand opportunities for student-athletes outside of sport.
Athletics can play a powerful role in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusivity — both at the UW and beyond. You can help provide career readiness programs to support the long-term goals of student-athletes as well as experiential programs and services that help create a more welcoming environment.
