The Buckingham Club of Chicago is an alumni group dedicated to fostering a UW business network in the Chicago area, bringing awareness to and supporting UW–Madison philanthropic causes, and providing support to UW student-athletes and intercollegiate athletics.
Together, we’re boosting the UW Initiative to End Alzheimer’s Research Fund and the Badger Fund in support of UW athletics.
The vision of the UW Initiative to End Alzheimer’s is to improve early and accurate diagnosis, treatment, and care for people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. At the same time, UW researchers are focusing on the long-term goal of preventing Alzheimer’s disease. These researchers are part of a national network of Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centers that also collaborates internationally.
The Badger Fund supports the continued excellence of UW athletics, focusing on two priority areas: facilities and scholarships. These ensure that every UW student-athlete has the space, equipment, and resources they need to excel both athletically and academically, regardless of their financial background.
