3 Gifts Received$250 Raised

Experiencing sexual assault during college can derail a student emotionally, academically, and even financially. A gift to the Survivor Empowerment Fund puts money directly in the hands of survivors to cover the real costs associated with violence, including medical treatment, emergency housing, transportation, and protective measures. Beyond providing access to vital resources, donations offer student survivors a sense of relief and hope during a turbulent time.

Your gift—no matter the size—makes an immediate and meaningful difference.

  • $25 can replace damaged or lost belongings
  • $50 helps cover transportation to appointments or court hearings
  • $200 can provide safety measures like home security cameras
  • $600 covers the cost of a toxicology screen
  • $1,500 allows a survivor to safely break a lease and relocate
  • $2,100 provides critical medication to prevent HIV after an assault

Each contribution helps remove a barrier, restore a sense of safety, and empower a student to focus on healing and continuing their education.

This Giving Tuesday, help us meet our $3,500 goal to fully fund one student’s holistic recovery—providing the financial support they need to reclaim control of their life, pursue their academic goals, and move forward with confidence and hope. Your gift is more than an act of generosity, it’s a statement of solidarity. It tells survivors that they are seen, heard, believed, and not alone.

Together, we can ensure every UW–Madison student has access to the safety, stability, and care they deserve.
