Supporting your class reunion gift effort is a gratifying part of your reunion celebration. While providing a powerful impetus for increased financial support to our Law School, reunion philanthropy helps strengthen individual and class ties with the University by renewing shared class feelings of pride and loyalty. It’s a shared legacy.

Contributions to the Class of 1984 Scholarship Fund, as well as matching gifts from corporations and foundations, all count in reunion gift totals.

Launched by fellow members of the Law School Class of 1984, the 1984 Scholarship Fund has been established to provide annual scholarship support for one or more students who have demonstrated financial need. As the State’s only public law school, the University is committed to helping keep costs of legal education and student debt manageable.  In 2022, 93% of incoming first-year law students received a scholarship, and the average debt for UW law graduates that same year was $48,419, well below the national average.

To both cement our legacy and support great students who will become exceptional lawyers and future leaders, please consider making a gift today.
