For more than 90 years, the Wisconsin Hoofers have helped UW–Madison students explore the outdoors, discover new passions, and build lasting friendships. As a student-led organization, every Hoofers club adventure depends on skilled, confident leaders who make each experience safe, welcoming, and unforgettable.
Your gift to the Hoofer Student Leader Training Fund provides scholarships for students to earn essential safety and leadership certifications—like Wilderness First Aid, US Sailing, and Professional Climbing Instructor credentials. These experiences help student leaders gain valuable skills, mentor their peers, and keep outdoor adventures accessible to all.
This Giving Tuesday, help us raise $5,000 to provide leadership training scholarships for Hoofers student leaders. Your generosity—no matter the size—makes an immediate and meaningful difference:
- $310 covers a Wilderness First Aid certification.
- $350 funds a US Sailing Level 1 certification.
- $650 provides an American Canoe Association Level 1 certification.
- $850 supports a PADI Scuba certification.
- $910 covers a Wilderness First Responder certification.
Make your gift now and help ensure every Badger has the opportunity to grow as a leader and experience the transformative power of the outdoors!
