Freshman Outreach Program – Saint Paul’s

Progress

4 Gifts Received$225 Raised

One of the most important element to life on campus is a sense of belonging and connection with friends and mentors. Amid the newfound freedoms and uncertainties that freshmen experience, Saint Paul’s Catholic Student Center at UW-Madison provides a unique setting for students to form lasting relationships and find the support they need for a successful, edifying college experience.

Saint Paul’s recognizes the need for freshmen to find a community as soon as they arrive on campus. Our Freshman Small Groups bring hundreds of students together weekly to open up conversations regarding collegiate life, purpose, and faith, and participate in community events like tailgates, game nights, and service trips. These close-knit groups create a space where students are known, valued in this community, and free to explore a deeper meaning to their lives.

Your gift will allow more students the opportunity to grow in their relationship with God, discover their particular gifts, and build genuine friendships. This year, Saint Paul’s is seeking to bring more freshmen than ever before into the ministry. We are open to all regardless of religious background.

In addition to our Freshman ministries, there are several ways UW-Madison students can participate at Saint Paul’s. Our building is open daily from 7:00 am – 11:00 pm for students to study, pray, and hang out. Any given week, students are able to participate in:

  • Mass offered four times every Sunday and twice daily
  • Weekly dinners, prepared by and for students
  • Silent prayer in the chapel every weekday morning
  • Speaker series and intellectual courses on the Catholic faith
  • Over 20 retreats and service trips throughout the year

Thank you for your generosity. Your support will truly make a difference in the lives of UW-Madison’s newest generation of students.
