2026 Senior Class Gift: The Open Seat at UW

Progress

8 Gifts Received$200 Raised

Many UW–Madison students face difficult choices between meeting everyday needs and focusing fully on their education. The Open Seat Food Pantry exists to ensure students have access to nutritious food in a supportive and dignified environment.

The Open Seat partners with Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin, allowing monetary donations to stretch further through efficient food sourcing and distribution. This partnership helps keep pantry shelves stocked with essential groceries that students rely on throughout the academic year.

The UW–Madison Senior Class Gift supports this mission by strengthening food access on campus and supporting fellow Badgers during moments of need. Your gift makes an immediate and meaningful difference by helping sustain a resource many students depend on.

Thank you for supporting student food security at UW–Madison. Your generosity helps ensure that no student has to choose between their education and having enough to eat.
