We are excited to announce that the Badger Equestrian Team has officially qualified for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Zone 7 Championships! As we enter our post-season, we are proud to share that 12 of our riders will be stepping into the ring at Zones to represent UW–Madison.
Due to the distance, we will be flying as a team to Lubbock, Texas on March 27. As a club sport, our equestrian team does not receive university-funded support, and each rider is responsible for covering the cost of attending Zones.
To help ease this financial burden, we are seeking donations to support our riders on their journey to compete. Any contribution is greatly appreciated. Below are the estimated costs per team member:
- Flights: approx. $800
- Hotels: approx. $150
- Show Entry Fee: $85 per class
Your support will help our team travel to Texas and proudly represent both our region and the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Thank you for your time, consideration, and generosity.
