Looking ahead to graduation, this is the time to contribute to the 2025 Class Gift Program and leave your mark on the University of Wisconsin Law School!
Your gifts will go to the Law School Annual Fund, an essential resource for supporting our students. Every student at UW Law is impacted by this fund.
Law School Annual Fund dollars make significant impacts by:
- Providing vital scholarships for students, making obtaining a legal education a reality.
- Offsetting the costs of the Homecoming Cane Toss and tailgate celebration so that all students who want to participate can do so without financial barriers.
- Providing student organizations funding through the J.D. Grants program, enabling them to host events, panels and activities.
- Increasing the impact of proceeds raised by the Jackie Macaulay Public Interest Auction by providing additional funding for summer public interest internships ensures that students engaged in valuable legal work receive the necessary support, even when compensation is limited.
- Supporting co-curricular activities such as mock trial, moot court, the Wisconsin Law Review, the Journal of Law Gender & Society, and the Wisconsin International Journal, providing students with invaluable opportunities for hands-on learning and professional development.
- Covering travel costs and fees for students attending regional and national conferences and those competing in moot court and mock trial competitions, enriching their academic experience and fostering professional development opportunities.
An anonymous donor has committed matching dollars to ensure the 2025 Class Gift makes the biggest impact possible. The donor will contribute $2,000 for each increment of 5% participation, until 20% participation is achieved.
This is an excellent opportunity to give any amount you can and increase the impact of your gift.
Your Class Gift Program runs from March 1 to May 10, 2025.
Students who make a gift of $50 or more will receive a limited edition Justice Bucky poster. These posters are only available through participation in the Class Gift Program while supplies last.
Please consider making a gift today and becoming part of this meaningful initiative.
