The Wisconsin Sailing Team is a competitive, coed, student run college sailing program which operates under the University of Wisconsin. We are a member of the Midwest Collegiate Sailing Association as a part of the larger Intercollegiate Sailing Association. We strive to advance college sailors through teamwork, leadership, and rigorous sailing.
The Wisconsin Sailing Team is a student-run organization that relies on the generosity of our community to keep us sailing strong. Raising money will help us keep our equipment fresh and send our sailors all over the country! New equipment is necessary for us to maintain our fleet, replace when needed, and be able to host regattas safely and successfully. We also try to cover the cost of travel for team members when possible so all athletes have the same opportunity to compete without financial burden.
Donors should support our campaign because we are passionate about what we do and we need help to continue doing what we love! Whether you’re helping us fix a rudder or fund a cross-country regatta, your support keeps the Wisconsin Sailing Team competitive, accessible, and thriving.
Donations made during this campaign will go directly to our day to day operations including: boat repairs and maintenance, coaching expenses, equipment upgrades and replacements. It will also aid our sailors in travel to national and regional regattas, housing, regatta coaching, and ensuring the future of the team.
